When I am stopped there is a noise from the rear it sound like the car wants to keep going.

Sorry for the late reply.

Your front wheel drive, anything to do with drive is in the front. In the rear, you can check tires--suspension-- wheel bearings and brakes. That's all I can think of at the moment.
