Hi there
My new "used" car is making a strange thump noise in the front end that I can feel in the pedals and steering when I turn a corner

Started a few weeks back, would initially come and go and now seems to be more regular.

What could this be and will it fall under the dealers 90 Day Lemon warranty?

I keep hearing expensive things like CV joints etc. But the car had a full inspection 2 months ago at time of purchase. Also, the life span of CV joints is supposed to be over 100K

What else could this be?

Thanks

Hi Andrea,

The first thing that comes to mind on this one is the strut mounts and or struts.

Some of the GM cars has trouble with the steering coupler or intermediate shaft. I'll update if I find anything on the coupler. Probably the strut or strut mounts.
