2002 Cavalier - A/C blows hot air

Was told I only need refrigerant, but is there something more I should look into. 107700 miles on it. It's nickel and diming me guys, and I don't have the cash to go diagnose. Any help would be great.

You can get a recharging kit from just asbout any auto store to recharge the system cheaper than having it recharged at a/c shop. Make sure you follow the instructions.

Is your engine cooling fan running?The engine fan has to run all while a/c is engaged to cool the condenser or you will get hot air.
