2001 Chevy Cavalier Running the car without a spark plug

Can I run the car with out the spark plug installed, with out hurting the engine?

Hi there,

the engine will run with a terrible miss fire and the noise will be deafening, this is also dangerous as fuel vapor will be pumped into the engine bay and one stray spark will be a disaster, don't do it.
