I have a groaning niose that sounded like wheel bearing but was'nt. What else would sound like wheel bearing. CV joint don't pop like I would expect. Does transmission have a bearing inside that would make a similar noise? Thanks.

It does not change when turning remains the same, so if you had changed that wheel bearing within a month and replaced the other thinking it was bad but it was'nt, you'd be wondering what was wrong.
Well I have found the problem.
Eventhough it did not "Act like" a wheel bearing the new one I had originally replaced had "gone bad" and ended up being my problem. It lasted one month and the parts place has replaced it. It sounded like the race inside has a low spot in it.
The roar never changed no matter how you turned and it was new so I was sure it was'nt the problem.
I was wrong.
Thanks for the help anyway.
