How do you remove starting motor

Disconnect negative battery cable, raise and support vehicle. Disconnect wiring to starter. Remove starter mounting bolts, note position of any shims on starter and put them back in same place on new starter.
Bolt in new starter, connect electrical, connect negative battery cable.
