Electrical problem
2000 Chevy Cavalier 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Over the summer my ABS light came one. I figured out one of my sensors needed to be replaced and afterwords everything was fine. The day before the first snow storm came my abs light came back on. Before the light would come on shortly after starting the car but now it's spuratic. I've had it pop on as soon as I started the engine, half way into my trip, or not at all. Because of this it leads me to believe it's a wiring issue. Is that a correct assumption? If so where should I begin to look?

Most likely a bad wheel sensor connection.

If you know someone with a chassis scanner, it will read the exact error code, ABS sets a "C" or Chassis error.
Autoparts stores can only read "P" or powertrain codes.
