i have oil in the spark plug wells why and what has to be done to fix this and how serious is this

Inside the spark plug holes or by the spark plug boots. Check and see if your valve cover is leaking. Let me know what you find

Yes there is oil in the well by spark plug boots and looking into further the valve cover was leaking at the gasket and now have replaced
