2002 Chevy Cavalier spark plugs

Where can I locate the spark plugs of chevy cavalier 2002 Z24 2.4 engine. I'm tracing the engine and I can't find it. Appreciate your help. Thanks!

If its a twin cam engine its under the cover that says twin cam, sparkplugs, coils, ICM are in there.

First,I would like to thank you for responding on my inquiry, I took off all 4 screws on top that cover and wires that connect to it, but i have one more issue taking out the cover, there are a couple of cable wires on top that blocks the cover. I can not pull the cover up freely because of that wire. I tried and check all the possibilities but no luck. I Would like to ask your help if you have any advise and recommendation on how to move that accelerator pedal cable wire. Attached are photos of my engine. Again thank you very much and I appreciate your help regarding this matter. Happy 2010. Thanks.

J 36011 Spark Plug Removal Tool

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the accelerator cable from the hold down clip.
Remove the cruise control cable, if applicable.

Remove the bolt from the fuel line retainer clip.

Disconnect the 11 pin harness connector to the ignition control module (ICM).

Remove the bolts that retain the ICM assembly to the camshaft housing. NOTE: Spark plug boots often adhere to the spark plugs. Use tool J 36011 in order to remove by first twisting and then pulling upward on retainers. Reinstall the boots and the retainers on the ignition coil housing secondary terminals. The boots and the retainers must be in place on the ignition coil housing secondary terminals prior to the ignition coil and the electronic ignition control module assembly installation or ignition control system damage may result.

Remove the ICM assembly from the engine.

Remove the screws that retain the housing to the cover.

Disconnect the coil harness connector from the ICM. IMPORTANT: When removing the housing from the cover, make sure the ground strap stays in place.
Remove the housing from the cover.

Remove the ignition coils from the housing.

Disconnect the ignition coils connector.

Remove the contact springs from the housing.

Remove the ignition coil seals from the ignition coils.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Install the new ignition coil seals into the ignition coils.

Install the contact springs into the housing. Use petroleum jelly to retain.

Connect the ignition coils connector.

Install the ignition coils into the housing.

Install the ground strap if necessary.

Connect the ignition coils connector to the ICM. IMPORTANT: When installing the housing to the cover make sure the ground strap stays in place.
Install the housing to the cover. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Install the screws that retain the housing to the cover. Tighten Tighten the screws to 4 N.M (35 lb in ).

Install the spark plug boots and the retainers to the housing, if necessary.

Install the ICM assembly to the engine while carefully aligning the spark boots to the spark plug terminals. IMPORTANT: The ICM cover bolts must be installed using isolator washers with the rubber side facing down.

Install the bolts that retain the ICM assembly to the camshaft housing after coating the threads with LOCTITE(R) or equivalent. Tighten Tighten the bolts to 22 N.M (16 lb ft ).

Connect the ICM 11 pin harness connector.

Install the bolt to the fuel line retainer clip.

Install the accelerator cable into the hold down clip.
Install the cruise control cable, if applicable.
Connect the negative battery cable.
