1998 Chevy Cavalier headlights

The on dash indicator says the high beam lights are on as soon as you turn on the lights. In fact the headlights do not come on at all. The park lights come on, the headlamps are all good and hooked up, and the fuses for both left and right lights are good.

There is a reply that is too large to copy and post but it will probably solve your problem.
There is a connector under the battery box where all the light wires come together as well as other places to check.
