my check engine light came on this morning and now it it jerking when I turn. Where is the transmission fluid located in my car so I can check it

If engine light is on then you should take to local auto part store and ask them to scan your vehicle's trouble codes. Most auto part stores do this for free. Post codes here and I can better assist you.
