The battery was replaced this summer, the alternator was replaced two months ago.
the car battery light falshes on and the head lights dim. When the battery light goes off the lights get brighter. After a couple of days, the card will not start. Haven't tried to jump it yet and was wonderig if the alternator could be deffective after a couple of months.

May want to check the drive belt. Could be slipping not running alternator at all times, allowing battery to eventually die. If belt feels loose make sure tensioner is good and replace if necessary. Also replace belt if loose. If belt / tensioner is OK then make sure battery cables and terminals are in good connection, clean and tightened properly. If OK here as well, have alternator and battery tested at local part store. They do this free of charge, on or off of vehicle.
