Brakes problem
1998 Chevy Cavalier 4 cyl

I have a 1998 Cavalier. The abs/brake lights come on, sometimes the radio goes off and then comes back on. The car goes dead and will crank in a few minutes. Yesterday the car went dead and I had to jump it off. Also when the brake lights come on the battery light will flash on a couple of times, most of the time thats when the car dies.

Please give me a solution.

Have the charging system tested at most autoparts stores for free, including the battery, starter draw, alt, and battery drain test.

If ABS problem persists, you will have to have the car scanned with a chassis scanner, which will give you the ABS codes. Most autoparts stores do not have chassis scanners.
