1998 chev cavalier Having major fuel mileage issues! I scanned it and found several code that include 0342 cam position, 1133 oxygen sensor insufficient switching, 0171 system too lean. I've recently replaced fuel fillter and coolant sensor. I'm a little green to obd 2 technology and really don't care to spend big $$$. The old girl spits and sputters on the low and mid-range but will still get up and go! You guys have a hell of a service here and any advice would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!

I didn't see the reason to replacing the coolant sensor
you have codes that they are pointing you in the direction off the problem
you need to check cam sensor and O2 sensor and also check for a vacuum leak
check map and or mass air flow sensor
