Right now I have a bran new transmissin not even 7 moths old and I have this slight problem, when I put the vehical into gear reverse or drive it will go for about 3 to 4 inchs then stop suddenly. I have checked all the fluids and made sure that everything was fine but stilll the problem still remains,

the problems are, difficulty shiftying into gear (no thud when shifted), wont move past a few inches, I have reason to belive that its the transmission or the tourq converter but I really dont know. Any help would be greatful

Did you put the transmission in yourself? Sounds like the trans. Output shafts are binding, the trans. Has an internal gear problem etc.

Could also be a mount missing or installed incorrectly.

You will need to get this fixed ASAP, you could break the trans case.

Check the fluid level.
