My car chugs when I take off. When I get to speed its fine. If I take off extremely slow it's fine for the most part. Not exactly sure what the problem is. I'm thinking maybe the fuel pressure sensor or possibly an o2 sensor?

any ideas?

thank you.

Hi:
Yes, it could be one of the sensors, or one of several other things. Is the check engine light on? Are there any other symptoms?

What I suggest is to take it to a nationally recognized auto parts store (Auto Zone, Advance.) And have the computer scanned for trouble codes. Most of these places will scan for free, and the answer may be stored in the computer.

If you don't have any luck with that, let me know and we'll try to eliminate things one at a time.

I hope this helps.
Joe

No, my check engine light is not on.

Now, if I take it to one of these auto parts stores (even if the check engine light isn't on) does it still scan for problems the computer may be seeing?

HI:
Even with the light out, if a code was stored, it will be there.

Oh, ok. Cool. Thanks. I'll have it checked out tomorrow and let you know what happens.

Thanks again.
