I have a 1996 Chevy Cavalier and after recent breakdown the Theft System light will not shut off and the car will not start at all. I had just changed the Ignition Module and the Oil Pressure Switch. After replacing those the car will not start. What can i do to reset the Theft System light ?

Turn key on

try to start and let go leave key on
security light flasher for about 10 min
when it stops
turn key off and start car

key needed to be reprogrammed
happy driving after that
in some rear cases you may have to do that 3 times total of 30 min
