In the last two days when I drive my Cavalier and come to a stop the oil pressure light comes on. Once I press the gas pedal it goes away. This has only happened once the car has warmed up. The oil was just changed last month and the check oil light does not come on. This is the first time this has ever happened. Will I need to get a major repair.
Also, on same car, my windshield wipers stop in the middle of the windshield. If I have them on intermittent wiper activity they will rest where they should but if I shut them off entirely they stop midstream. Is the motor going in them? Thanks so much for your help.

Hi there,

you will need to get the oil pressure tested with a mechanical gauge to check actual pressure, this may just be a faulty sender unit, as for the wipers, the self park in the motor has stopped working, you may be better of getting a second hand wiper motor as a repair may not be cost efficient.
