1996 Chevy Cavalier lose signal on number 3 injector

1996 Chevy Cavalier 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I have been workin on this car for 2 weeks now engine is skipping we have changed head gasket coilpack and ignition module. Has not fixed problem we test all 4 banks and its missing on #3 fuel injector. What else can cause this problem?

Absolutely sure its the injector? Or is it just a cyl 3 misfire? If you narrowed it down to an injector, have you checked the harness with a noid light? Also, try testing the injector your self. You can also try swapping the #3 injector with the #4 injector. Im sure you have a code for a cyl 3 misfire, clear it. Swap the injectors. If your misfire code comes up #4 then its that injector. Replace it.

We have swaped injectors I even got new one still nothing we are only getting signal to #3 injector once in while. Didnt know if it could be computer problem

Usually the injectors get their signal from the coilpacks. Have you checked compression in the # 3 cyl?

Thanks but figured it out broken off wire were the injector wire goes into the computer
