1996 Chevy Cavalier ETS off and engine light

Recently, the ETS off and the engine light turned on. And I do not have my manuel to check this. Is there a way to turn the ETS on therefore the engine light might go off. I don't know how to turn it on. I don't even know if this will help. Please tell me why the light is on and what does iit mean.

You will have to get the car scanned to see what the problem is, the ETS may be off because an ABS sensor is bad.
Find a shop that can scan "P" and "C" codes.
