I got out of my car today, and saw steam coming form the hood. When I opened it, I saw that coolant was coming from the rear of the engine, near the back of the transmission. Is this something that could be a bad hose or gasket? If so how much would you say it could be fixed for?

Hi there,

Now that the car has cooled down, re fill the coolant and check the leak, if you can't see anything you will have to get a pressure test done, if it is a hose it should not cost too much, a cor plug will be a bit more expensive depending on the access available. Get the test done first so you know what you are dealing with.
