1994 Chevy Cavalier Hood want close

So i finally found the fuse for the flashers which was a hassle... Now im having problems with my front hood it want close all the way... It locks but it doesn't close all the way just happened yesterday... Can you please tell me what the problem may be?? Thankyou you very much!!

try pushing down the latch by hand, does it go down and lock? if so the hood needs adjustment, if it goes down and pops back up make sure the hood release cable is released and not pulled, and if thats good the mechanism needs replacement.
