i need to fix my lifters in the motor and is it hard and is it exspensive

Pull the valve cover off and inspect the condition of the engine. If there is a lot of sludge, then you will probably have to change more than the lifters.

Best advice is to use the car repair manual link in this thread or to buy a Haynes manual.
