My car will come to a stop and cuts off. When I put it in park to start it up, it starts but jerks hard when I put it in drive. Sometimes it will cut off again. Roughly how much will it cost to get is fixed and is it the transmission? I have already did a lot of maintenance on the electrial side of it. Etc. Plugs, wires, computer module, and coil.

Classic symptoms of TCC solenoid sticking (torque convertor clutch lockup solenoid).

Generally they can be replaced without removing trans.

Look for a white or blue square weather-pak connector on trans, try unplugging it first, if problem persists, change TCC.
