Hello all,

My fuel tank has bad gas in it and I'm lost when it comes to draining it out. I actually tried the primitive "siphon" method earlier ((LOL!)). Needless to say, it didn't go over very well. Is there a drain plug on the tank or do I have to disconnect anything under the vehicle to achieve this? PLEASE HELP! I NEED MY CAR!

You can disconnect the main fuel line and jump the relay to run the fuel pump. This will drain it.

Hey rhall77,
what if the fuel pump is not working? I need to drain my fuel because I need to drop the tank. I have 10 gallons just sitting in it and as we all no that is cash going to waste right now. Lol

Well if the fuel pump is not working, I would suggest just removing it with the fuel in the tank. You and another person could remove it with a floor jack.
