1985 Chevy Cavalier Setting timing

Remove spark plugs, rotate engine with ratchet on balancer bolt (clockwise).
Place finger on #1 spark plug hole, when you feel air coming out, rotate until balancer mark is aligned with timing mark (O degrees).

Install dist. So that rotor points to #1 cylinder (on cap).

Set timing with light after car is running.
