1993 Chevy Caprice knocking at idle

Hello.I have a 1993 chevy caprice with 57,000 miles on it. The car runs good but I noticed problem when I'm at a stop sign or a red light. You can hear a slow knocking sound. The guy who sold me the said that it has been sitting for a while so I got the oil changed. It's pretty strange because it doesn't do it when I drive, only at really slow speeds and red lights.

If you're getting a knock at low RPM's, I recommend you have the oil pressure checked. Most mechanics have the proper tools to do it. The reason for my concern is there may be an oil pump problem. This will let us know if it's good. If it is, there may be another problem. NOTE: if pressure is dropping, it can cause permanent damage.
