1992 Chevy Caprice car just shut off while running

I was driveing home and my car just shut off we changed the fuel filter and checked the fuel pump it is working it seems to be getting no spark. Let car set overnight thought what the heck hit the key and it started only to quit running again. Can you help me

Hi:
Did the check engine come on? You may want to have the computer scanned for trouble codes. Most parts stores will do it for free. Also, if you have no spark, check for power to the coil. Finally, did you test fuel pump pressure? If so, what did you find?
