I have had a leak in the cooling system somewhere and have not been able to afford to get it fixed. I use less than a 1:1 mixture of antifreeze and water mixture and it has dipped to overnight lows of upper teens. I haven't driven the car in a few days because I am scared the radiator might be frozen. I checked the resevoir and the fluid is still fluid. Is my car ok to start and run or is there a chance my radiator could be frozen?

Welcome to the 2CarPros Forum, Any situation that may result in a very expensive repair should be addressed asap. The cooling system is one example of this senerio. If not properly maintained, it could cause the engine to over heat and un-seal the head gaskets. If air is introduced to the cooling system, enough air may cause the temp gauge or light to malfunction. Try and get your problem repaired first before operating it. Its better not to take a chance on a causing a very expensive repair that you can prevent.

I hope this information is helpful, let me know if I can be of further assistance.
