1989 Chevy Caprice heater/air condition

I cannot get the heater to blow out air, it is kinda cold in there. The air conditioner was working earlier in the Summer but I just decided not to blow anymore. Maybe the fan motor? Do you know where is located under the hood?

The fan motor is under the hood
.
On the passenger side.

A big round thing about the sized of a large coffee cup.
It probably has a thick gaged purple wire going to it.

Once you see where it is, it will be easy to take out.
