Problem with high beams on Camaro

I just bought a 1993 camaro z28, automatic, 58000 miles, went to get it inspected, and they wouldnt pass it because of the high beams dont come on, all other lights work, the switch you pulll forward sometimes the high beams come on, but wont stay on, the handle is kinda loose, but if you jiggle it, the hight beams do come on, but wont stay, what can I do, thanks
