Lower control arm right side

I have a 1995 z28 with a l s1 motor I am having troble getting the lower control arm off. Do you put the fork under the control arm or above it, know matter how hard I hit it it will not break lose. Am I doing something wrong

Do you mean you can't break the ball joint? Make sure you hav a ball joint fork, not a tie rod fork, two different sizes! What exactly are you trying to do?
