I have a 1995 camaro with a 3, 4 v6 motor with 160000 mile on it and I want to put a lower mile motor in it. My buddy has a motor from a 1998 camaro 3.8 v6 and I would like to know if I can use it and if the are any wiring or hook up issues. Thanks

It can be done but keep in mind ask your buddy if he or she has the computer for it, wiring is not going to just plug right up, wiring could be a nightmare, there are alternatives for wiring harness but expensive painlesswiring. Com so you have an idea of just the harness I know because I put a LT1 in a S10 it will add up good luck

You will be able to use your existing wire harness and computer. You may have to swap a few sensors out with the new motor but gm is pretty good and easy on interchanges. If both engines have the same injection you will have no problems other than tight sqeezes.
