Camaro z 28 1984 transmission

Well I have this car camaro z 28 1984, it wont shift past second, it shifts just fine from first to second, but it wont shift to third or fourth, it also takes reverse just fine, the trans was rebuilt a while ago but I baught the car a couple of months ago, so I dont know if it work back then. Please someone help, dont know where the problem is, thanks for any help.

I'm having the same exact problem with my 96 z28, did you fix it? And if you did, what was the problem?

Go to a repair shop and have them flush the tranny. It could be clogged.
