Transmission problem
1980 Chevy Camaro V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

When I went to back out of my driveway, I realized I had no reverse gear. I then went through the rest of my gears and they were all drive, even neutral. I figure it has something to do with the linkage, but have no idea what to do after that. Any help to steer me in the right direction would be appreciated.

This type of problem is hard to diagnose without a visual inspection, the root of the problem most likely lies in the linkage. This would be a good place to start before removing the trans or beginning any unnecessary repairs. However if the linkage proves to be functional, faulty or worn clutches could be to blame.
