I have a 91 RS Camaro with a TBI 5.0 V8. I have been having a problem with it idling rough when it is fully warmed up. When first started it will run and idle perfect, but after driving a few miles and stopping it will not idle at a steady rpm. It will idle at about 500 rpm and constantly bog down to about 100-200 rpm every second or two. I had a full tune up with new plugs, wires, fuel filter, and distributor, but it didn't help any.

Check both the idle air controller, on the side of the tbi. And the mass air flow sensor.

I replaced the Idle Air Controller but it didn't help.
I'm not sure where the mass air flow sensor is. Is that the same as the M.A.P. Sensor (which is on the firewall) or is one of the 2 sensors inside the air cleaner?
Do you think that a o2 sensor could be causing the problem? I don't think it was ever replaced with 136000 miles on it.

I replaced the o2 sensor and it still didn't fix the rough idle. I just sold the car and bought a BMW, problem solved!
