1999 Chevy Camaro 3.8 hesitating and bucking on acceleratio

I have a 1999 camaro v6 3.8 with 5 speed manual, the car idles good but when you start to accelerate it hesitates and cuts out sometimes its a lot sometimes it is not, and it does not set a code. It seems that if I accelerate slowly it runs better, and the other day it ran extremely well for about 10 miles and then started acting up again, sometimes it will shut off but starts right back. Not sure what it could be, especially with it not setting codes. Any ideas before I take it to the chevy dealer.
