On 1-28-08 I had ask mastertech Tim what the draw on a 1998 camaro would be with everything off and he said an acceptable draw is 50milli amps. I checked it and it is at 70 milli amps. My battery checks out good according to the place I bought it at. My battery still goes dead in 3 days. Would 70 milli amps drain a battery that fast? If not any suggestions?

In my book 0.30milliamps tolerance, anything over calls for some serious electrical troubleshooting.

You can use an ammeter/voltmeter/test light to check for direct short to ground

Get a test light and disconnect the negative battery cable now put the light between the cable and battery negative post is the light On? If so start removing fuses one at a time -the fuse that turns off the light is the trouble circuit. Then break out the electrical wiring diagram.

In the event you removed all the fuses and the light is still On disconnect the alternator batt. Feed and the connector-if this one turns off the light-the alternator has bad diodes.
