1996 Chevy Camaro Windshield Wipers Camaro Z28

I have a '96 Camaro and the windshield wipers do not make full contact with the windshield. I have made sure the arm is tight on the motor and there are new blades on the whippers. When the whippers are on they miss/do not clear the center of the windshield. How can I fix this? (And yes everything else is in working order, and the arms are not bent)

It sounds like the wiper arms are bad. Not the blade, but the arm that it attaches to. There is a spring that pulls the blade to the window. If the get old and rusty, they lose their strength and do what you have described.
