My 1995 camaro 3.4 V6 coolant fan comes on at 240 deg. I replaced the fan, temp switch, fan relay, thermostat, and belt tensioner. If I run the AC the fan works. Please Help. I know it shouldnt run at that temp shoulld it? I have owned the car for 9 years and I dont think it ran at that temp always.

One thing to check is getting a separate reading of the coolant temp. The gauge may not be reading correctly. Also the engine coolant temperature sensor may be giving false readings.
