On my 1994 chevy camaro, the A/C Clutch is slightly out of place for some reason i'm not sure why, I still get cold air from the vents if I turn on the A/C but I was told to just not turn on my A/C just incase something happens to it to cause the rest of the engine damage, so I have to drive around in my car to work with no A/C and in Texas heat with the windows up (my windows don't work either) is my problem just the A/C clutch or do I have to get the whole thing replaced (A/C clutch and compressor)?

Go to the local junkie, buy a compressor with a good clutch and swap just the clutch, if you have the easy type, you might be able to pull just the clutch and pulley off. No recharge would be needed this way.

Subject: hello
thanks for your reply about my A/C clutch, I think i'll try that, but i'm still not sure about it, i'm still going to take it to someplace that does A/C repair and stuff, just to make sure if it's just the clutch or if I have to get a commpressor too.
Reply: If the interior of the car cools, the compressor is working.
