My Camaro was said to have an exhaust mainafold leak. First question, cost to get it fixed. Second question, what are the risk for prolonging the repair. Third question, the car is stumbling/not accelarating fast enough until I get to about 25 to 30 miles per hour, is this exhaust mainafold leak the cause of lack of performance? Last question, is it best to take the car to get this repair to a repair man who fix or work on mufflers or any random mechanic. Thank you.

If you don't fix the manifold tis is what will /can happen-it will get worse as driven, it will leak causing carbonmonoxide into your car possibly causing carbon monoxide poisoning, noise. Any random mechanic can change it not just a muffler shop. If you have one that you can trust take it there. The exaustleak could cause the 02 sensor to not work right but you should try to get the engine codes to see if there is anything sesor wise that is causing this. Cost to get it fixed varies by where you take it. Best thing to do there is get quotes to do it.
