Noises problem
1993 Chevy Camaro V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 95XXX miles

I have a 1993 Z28 Camaro that has a high pitched squeal coming from the back of the car. It only happens when turning. When I turn into a drive way, or move the steering wheel back and forth while driving. My first thought was maybe the indicators on the brake pads. One side was close, so I changed them and thought problem solved. Well the squeal was still there. Next I thought maybe the wheel bearings. Again they were questionable so I changed them. But again the squeal was still there. Any ideas? I'm wondering about something to do with the limited-slip differential. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Is it the sounds of tires squealing? I would suspect the differential not working properly causing the wheels to turn improperly and causing the squeeling.

The sound doesn't sound like tire squeal, it's more of a metal to metal squealing sound if that makes sense.

I would drain teh fluid and check the differential, and check for excessive gear mesh.

You can do that by having someone hold one wheel still and you turning it untill pressure is felt, then do then go the opposite way, should move no more then 1 inch.
