Engine Performance problem
1993 Chevy Camaro V8 Two Wheel Drive Manual 150K miles

A while back my car died going down a hill too slow in too high of a gear. After replacing the ICM the vehicle starts and sometimes idles. If im lucky I can feather it up in to higher RPM but generally dies. I have replaced coil, wires, plugs, ECM, ICM, MAP, and optispark. It seems like the timing just wont adjust like it should but I dont know what to check. The original OBD 1 trouble code thrown was 41. It isnt throwing any codes now. Prior to dieing it had a slight tick on the passenger side of the motor and now that tick seems to be a little louder. Please e-mail me with anymore questions.

If you have gas and spark, next thing to check is compression, you may have jumped a tooth on the timing chain.

Any recommended methods of checking for Spark and fuel? I just replaced the timing Chain and sprockets a few months prior. Is it still likely that it did this? If so how would I go about checking it? Its a beast to get to like everything else on this model Camaro.
