1986 Chevy Camaro V8 Automatic

i have a 86 camaro with a 305 tpi I got the car they said they put a new fuel pump in it so I got it home with a wrecker and starting testing. Ok tested fuel preasure on rail came up 20 pounds ok then replaced regulator still 20 pounds, then I pulled fuel line off before the fuel rail and tested the pump my gage said 20 pounds for that to ok now im stumped if I spray gas into it I can get it to run it run rich and like crap when its running when I spray gas in it its wants to run good im lost on this thing. The pump, filter, and regulator are new, im lost, thanks

When the camaro was made in 86 with a V8 it came with PFI not TPI. It's a minor thing but the if you are on the fuel rail and it's 20 p.S.I. Then it's to low. It should be 40p. Si. Minimum. That's probably why it won't start. But do the easy stuff first and replace the fuel filter.
