I would like to change my oil from regular oil to synthetic oil, and I'm not too sure what to use 10w 30 or something higher I have a comp cam kit and Edlebrock intake with a holley 670 cfm carb, cheap headers, what would you recomend synthetic or not and what weight oil. Also I would like to upgrade my heads what should I look for in heads for a 350small block.

Upgrading to full-synthetics is always a good idea, so long as you can afford it.

10w30 would be just fine for your engine.

Now having said that, it's not a good idea to do performance mods on a motor with over a 100K miles on it. You'd be improving the power output of a motor that barely wants to make the power it was designed to make!

I'd recommend first doing a complete overhaul of the bottom end, then think about performance.

As for performance heads, the sky's the limit. As the old saying goes: How fast do you want to go?

Also, your choice will depend on if your engine is carbed, or injected.

If you keep your Edlebrock cam/intake/carb combo, then I'd suggest getting a pair of their heads. They'll perform as a system and you can't go wrong!
