1980 Chevy Camaro 396

A 350 trans will work with a 396. But there are some things youll need to do. First of all, be sure to get a long tailshaft so the driveshaft length will be correct. The only real issue is the torque arm. The easiest way to solve it is to buy an aftermarket trans. Crossmember with a tourqe arm mount built in it, or I have heard of some people using the 700r4 tailshaft housing on the th350, but I can not vouch for this. Good luck on the swap. :)
