I HAVE A 94 FULL-SIZE 2-DOOR CHEVY BLAZER W/210K MILES. UNTIL RECENT, THE TRUCK RAN GREAT! FROM NOWHERE/WITHOUT WARNING, THE TRUCK ACCELARATE VERY SLOW AND RIDES NORMAL WHEN I REACH ABOUT 30MPH. REVERSE IS FINE, BUT ANY FORWARD MOTION, IN ANY GEAR PRODUCES THE SAME RESULTS. IS THIS A TRANSMISSION PROBLEM? CAN YOU GIVE ME ADVICE TO NOT GET RIPPED OFF BY MANY GREEDY TRANSMISSION COMPANIES? ONE TECH STATED THAT THE 2ND AND 4TH GEARS ARE OUT(SHIFT SOL), IS THIS POSSIBLE?

So the transmission does not shift? You think it is starting out in a higher gear? You could have a shift solenoid that is bad but that will usually give you at least two gears. A loss of voltage to the transmission would give you one gear and I think the default gear would be 3rd. Any trouble codes stored?
