My warranty just ran up on my 03 blazer. Under warranty I had close to $4000 in repairs done to it. Now that my warranty expired can I expect any repairs that are common on blazers to happen? And if so can they be prevented with good regular maintenance.

Being mechanical, anything can go wrong on your car. Thingssuch as tires/brakes, etc are normal maintanence. Find a good independent repair facility that you trust and get your oil and filers changed regularly. You shouldn't have to much go wrong and if you do your changes regularly so that if there is something wrong it will cost you less.
