2003 Chevy Blazer Fuel Injectors

2003 Chevy Blazer 6 cyl

A friend was told by a shop he had a bad fuel injector, replacement would cost about $800.
At another shop he was told he couldn't replace just one, all 6 would have to be done, due to something involving spring clips, for $1300. Can just one be replaced? I was ASE master certified (expired) and worked for VW/Audi for 10 years, so I'm pretty competent when it comes to car repairs, just not sure if I should help my friend tackle this problem or not!

Should be able to replace just one.

If you have to replace them all it woudl be a lot cheaper buying them yourself or going to a salvage yard and getting a fuel rail and injector assembly and stiickign it on.

For their price for replacing all injectors is high also.

Compared to audi and vw this vehicle is a walk in the park.
